Alys Beach Session...
Good families and great friends, nothing makes summer more special. That would be unless you are a beautiful 6-year old girl planning her wedding (30 years in advance according to her father) at Alys Beach. Without hesitation she also declared that her husband was taking her on a cruise for her honeymoon. I asked if she had a certain Prince Charming in mind and she said "No, but a girl can dream..." Yes, darling you sure can!

Beach Session - Alys Beach Family Photographer...
Oh, how I love children with curls! As an adult with curls I would trade my mass of hair anyday for my friends with straight hair, but a child with curls just melts my heart (of course all of my own children have stick straight hair...and blonde...go figure). These two beauties not only have the hair, but the smiles to go along with them. Between a few fun shots riding their new bike and a quick run along Alys Beach their beauty shines through!

Beautiful people - Alys Beach Family Photographer...
Ms. D is one of the most beautiful people that I know. Her heart guides her in all she does and she is just one of those people that makes you feel good just for being around them. While I wish she lived closer to us now, I sure am glad that we get to catch up on her beach visits and what better subject for me to shoot running around Alys Beach in her convertible.

A Baby, a bonnet and a bowl...
My mother-in-law has a knack for finding fun things in unusual places and she gave me this bowl, calling it a biscuit bowl. As a good southern woman, I love some biscuits, but this bowl is huge! Perfect for size for snuggling a sleeping baby in it, though! Miss A decided our session was just too much fun to sleep through, but my big 'ole bowl still managed to come in handy...
